THE MISSION

Greenie Supply & Tackle was started in 2018 as a way to inspire imagination, creativity and human wellbeing through the context of nautical culture. Owned and operated by William H. Moulton Jr, the Greenie Supply mission is to bring new meaning to otherwise forgotten or obsolete materials and themes that can be applied to our own human experience. We also sell fishing supplies, found objects and artwork. We create things to do, inspire the exploration of seashores and promote the world of fishing through our web film series 'Tales from Mt. Striper Surf'. And above all, a portion of proceeds from the sale of our products goes directly back into the sea through charitable donations via environmental organizations.

 

WHAT'S IN A NAME?

You may have noticed that each of our rescued Penn Greenie reels has a human name. This is not a mistake. In fact, we spend quite a bit of time with each of these reels, getting to know them. Hanging out, if you will. Through this process, we form a bond with our Greenies that is not unlike the friendship one develops with another human. And how can you befriend someone, truly, if you don't know their name?
