This ruler measured thousands of fish in its heyday. Fluke, Stripers, Porgies. Even Taug. Since then, it has changed hands several times over the years. Owners include a dress maker, a fine art framer and most recently a young couple who used it to measure Ikea furniture for their apartment in Forest Hills. Luckily, we’ve reclaimed this little workhorse for the law abiding fisherman in all of us, to once again live in our tackle boxes forever.
